An itinerary at the heart of Provençal craftsmanship

  • Departure from Nice: we head towards Tourrettes-sur-Loup, a charming perched medieval village renowned for its rich artisanal heritage.
  • Visit of Tourrettes-sur-Loup: this village is famous for its violet production, a tradition that has endured for over a century. Its cobbled streets are home to numerous artisan workshops, including:
    • Olive wood craftsmanship: master artisans such as Guillaume Dubosq perpetuate a family know-how since 1958, creating decorative and functional objects from olive wood.
    • Pottery and ceramics: workshops such as Poterie Tournesol produce stoneware and earthenware pieces, blending tradition and creativity.
  • Private tasting: before lunch, a tasting session with a professional wine merchant will allow you to discover local wines and deepen your oenological knowledge.

A lunch with local flavors

Two options to choose from when booking:

  • Lunch in a traditional restaurant, showcasing Provençal local products (meal at the client’s expense). OR
  • Picnic basket prepared by us with regional artisanal specialties, to be enjoyed in a bucolic setting (supplement of €29 per person).

Discovery of the village of Gourdon

Heading to Gourdon: after lunch, we will head to Gourdon, listed among the “Most Beautiful Villages in France,” perched at an altitude of 760 meters and offering a panoramic view over the Gorges du Loup and the Mediterranean Sea.
